Premier Cement MD Amirul Haque is the new president of BCMA
Premier Cement’s Managing Director (MD) Md. Amirul Haque has been elected as the new president of the Bangladesh Cement Manufacturers Association (BCMA), the country’s cement industry owners’ organization.

He was elected as the president of the organization for two years in the general election held at the BCMA office in Dhaka on Thursday. This information was given in a notification sent by BCMA.
In addition, Confidence Cement’s Vice Chairman Md. Imran Karim has become the first vice president of the organization. Unique Cement’s Director Tanjima Binte Mustafa has become the vice president.
BCMA said that the newly elected president Amirul Haque is serving as the president of the LPG Operators Association of Bangladesh (LOAB) along with BCMA. He has been associated with business and commerce in the country for four decades. He is involved in various sectors including petrochemicals, shipping, seed processing and edible oil refineries, flour mills, shrimp hatcheries, bag, sack production, and housing sectors.
In addition, Amirul Haque also served as the director of the Chittagong Chamber and the apex business organization of FBCCI. He was elected CIPO by the government several times for his contribution to the country’s industrial sector.
In addition to the president, first vice-president and vice-president, Tahmina Ahmed of Seven Ring Cement has been appointed as the treasurer among the other members of the newly elected executive committee of BCMA.
